Acceptance
These Terms of Service apply to your use of https://www.lavyrn.com and to orders you place with LAVYRN. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms and to the Shipping Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.
Eligibility
You must be able to enter a contract to place an order. This site is not directed to children under 13. If you place an order for someone else, you are responsible for that order.
Products and pricing
LAVYRN sells DIY miniature scene sticker books, scene sticker kits, and sticker tweezers. Each product page describes what that edition includes. We aim to keep those descriptions accurate. The product page at the time you order is the description that applies to that purchase.
The price, discounts, tax, and shipping charge shown in Shopify Checkout are the amounts that apply to the order. A price on a product page can change before you check out. If a price or product detail was posted in error, we may cancel the order before it ships and refund what you paid for it.
Orders
You place an order by completing Shopify Checkout. Payment, tax, and order confirmation are handled there. LAVYRN does not collect your card number on this website. You pay with the payment methods Shopify Checkout offers for that order.
An order confirmation means we have received the order. We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is unavailable, if payment does not complete, if we reasonably believe the order is fraudulent or placed with false information, or if we cannot ship to the address. If we cancel after payment, we refund the amount collected for that order.
Shipping
Shipping is currently configured for the United States, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam. US orders under $5.99 ship for $5.99, $5.99–$48.99 ship for $4.99, $49+ free. U.S. standard delivery takes 8–15 days. The shipping charge and any delivery estimate are confirmed in Shopify Checkout before you place the order. International orders use destination-based rates. The U.S. rates do not apply to them. Actual delivery times can vary by destination and customs processing.
The Shipping Policy is the summary of destinations, rates, and estimates. If this section and that page differ, the Shipping Policy controls. Duties, taxes, or customs charges may be your responsibility, as stated on that page and in checkout.
Returns and refunds
The Refund Policy is part of these terms and is the full statement of returns. For an order delivered in the United States, you may request a return within 30 days after the item is delivered, unless applicable law requires a different timeframe. Contact LAVYRN before you send anything back, and provide your order number or proof of purchase. You arrange return shipping and pay for it. An item sent back without a return request first will not be accepted.
For deliveries outside the United States, you may also request a return within 30 days after the item is delivered, and you arrange and pay for return shipping. Where a return is accepted, items are expected back in the condition they were received, unworn or unused, with tags, and in their original packaging, as the Refund Policy states. We may reduce a refund if the item has been used, damaged, or handled more than necessary.
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. The Refund Policy also describes damaged or incorrect items, exchanges, and additional cancellation rights that can apply to consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom. If this summary and the Refund Policy differ, the Refund Policy controls. These terms do not limit rights that consumer law does not allow us to limit.
Intellectual property
The LAVYRN name, the site, product photographs, text, and artwork are owned by LAVYRN or its licensors. Buying a product gives you that physical item. It does not transfer ownership of the brand, the photographs, or the product designs. You may share a link to our pages. You may not copy our site content or use the LAVYRN name in a way that suggests we made or endorsed something we did not.
Prohibited use
Use the site lawfully. Do not interfere with the site or with checkout, attempt to break or overload it, place an order with information you know is false, interfere with someone else’s order, or scrape the site in a way that degrades it. Do not use our content or name to mislead anyone about who you are or what you sell.
Disclaimer
We describe products as carefully as we can. The product page at the time of the order, and the packaging you receive, are the details for that item. These are DIY craft materials. How a scene turns out depends on assembly.
Except where the law does not allow this disclaimer, the site and products are provided as is, and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This does not remove rights consumer law gives you, including rights if goods are defective or not as described.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law of the State of Arizona and the United States allows, LAVYRN is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from the site or an order. Our total liability for a claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including liability for personal injury or for fraud that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona and the applicable laws of the United States, without applying conflict-of-law rules that would choose another state’s law. The state and federal courts located in Arizona are the venue for a dispute with LAVYRN, except where a consumer law that cannot be waived lets you bring a claim where you live. These terms do not require arbitration.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. The new terms apply to orders placed after that date. An order already placed stays under the terms, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy in effect when you placed it.
